OH blog world, I know more than a few of you are reading so here's my plea for you to give me your advice and help me along with this question. Since I'm not going to tell you what scenes I would be shooting and that is always meant to be a surprise, I'll just say this. I am choosing between two scenes. Casting and Location are the biggest considerations.
Scene 1 would involve a jailhouse, I'm guessing. It's the cold stark place where you would go to have a talk with an inmate. There's just a cement floor, bare bones table with a tiny divider between the people talking. This scene involves 3 characters and would require a boy of around 16-18. The good news is, he doesn't say a word.
Scene 2 would involve an attorney's office. Again, there are 3 people in the scene and all have equally demanding roles.
In both scenarios I can think of casting choices except for the young boy but how tough could it be to get a teen to look disgruntled and say nothing? So on one hand, there's only two real actors needed and on the other hand, the location might be easier to obtain.
Hmm, what do you think? I sure hope lots of you give your feedback. I may not listen to any of it because truly all of the answers have been coming to me throughout this project but I sure would love to hear your thoughts. HMMMMMM.

Go for the Jailhouse! It's a cooler vibe.
I think the jailhouse if a cooler vibe too. Plus I think you should have a distinct lead role for your first shoot rather than sharing it with 2 other characters. On a side note, if you ever need me or Grant or be an extra let me know.
Thanks for the suggestion guys. This isn't my first scene. I'm working on my second scene. The first one has me primarily on camera with just a couple of 2 second cutaways. For the second one I was going more ensemble because the third one is most likely just me by myself again. This is all so exciting!
I can't wait for the first video!!
