Short and Sweet

I'm gonna keep this short and sweet, like me ;-)

Today was a day when I had to do real life maintenance. I have a few jobs, paying ones that is, that are coming up and an AFTRA event that I cochair. It was time to make sure all of the i's were dotted and the t's were crossed. My time is quickly filling in leaving only a couple of days here or there for my next shoot.

I sent an email to my next DP, Dave Litz (I figured Devon could use a break after his hard and wonderful work) and am hoping to hear back soon as to what the exact shoot date will be. I thought the date was set but then I booked some work that eliminated that date so the search goes on and on and I hope we all get synchronized. It's so important as you know. The great thing is even though I want this to air in approximately two weeks, there is no set date ... no icky deadline like last time.

Well, like I said, I'm going to let you all get caught up with my ramblings and take some time to watch Meryl interviews and movies without her in them for the DVD directors commentaries. By the end of this project, I'm going to know so much more about shooting film that I might want to direct something ... can you imagine?
