So, today I met with Devon and we discussed the shot list. I told him what I'd like to see him capture but it's all up to him how we do it. I also spoke with Wendall, our location manager and he's working on securing the perfect spot. The shoot will happen this Wednesday and now all I have to do is connect with the Make up artist. I think it's all set then.. hard to believe. Had a tiny epiphany today,I have NEVER planned an entire shoot. Oh, I've been asked to be at many, always as the talent. I've never however, decided who will be on the crew or who will act opposite me or where it will be. Wow, I'm drunk with power ...lololol... just kidding. Actually, it creates a whole different type of pressure, if this goes awry it's all on me ... sheesh!
Also, I can see it already, I'm going to learn a lot. At first I imagined learning accents and lines but now I'm going to end up knowing camera lingo and I'll be getting an education on organizing a shoot that is mind blowing. This just gets better and better.
About my upcoming shoot, Susan Orlean is the character I will be portraying and she's a real person. I looked up her picture online and she looks nothing like me and actually doesn't look too much like Meryl either. Tonight I will be getting colored contacts to try and transform my physical appearance. I would like to look different in each of the 26 shoots. Is that asking too much? I would appreciate your comments and suggestions as to how I can scam some wigs and costumes. Oh, did I say scam? I certainly didn't mean that. ;-)
