I have been a bit blogless lately. It's certainly not that my project isn't at the forefront of my mind but more to the point, I'm feeling there is not much new to say. Of course, you know me, I will come up with something.
There's the fact that my team members are experiencing some great stuff! Adam White, DP of the I scene, just won an EMMY! Isn't that wonderful? I have received two calls lately from producers asking for Devon Collin's information so they can hire him. Remember when I said that was won of my goals? I wanted to get us all more work! Well, that seems to be happening. My web designer and technical support, Terri Negron, is sooooooo busy with a multitude of clients. Every time I speak with one of my crew members, they are swamped, going to or coming from a shoot. Noel Maitland has been a busy man shooting on location everywhere! Chuck Chubbuck the Director from the I scene, is keeping busy with Corporate work. Then there are my actors. Mike Kraft is always on set somewhere. Micheal Cipiti is brewing up some projects of his own. Spencer Jay Kim is working intensely with his own production company and Cathy Albers never has a quiet moment between wrapping up her teaching schedule and arranging her Chekhov workshops.
I'm so happy to see my peeps busy! I haven't been as busy as I would like for a while, which has given me more contemplation time than anything. I'm in one of those slumps where I just stare at the wall versus actually getting up and making things happen. I am meeting very soon with Joe Miller, an extraordinary writer who will pen a new item for the press. I also was blessed to have Jay Kim send Meryl Streep's publicity people a letter about my project. That was sent to three different members of her team and on Meryl's Birthday. Happy Birthday to Me. Thanks, Jay! So once again, I am blessed to have myself surrounded by so much talent and willingness to help. Now we just have to light a fire under my own tookus and we'll be in business!
