It really is complicated

Today you will see the scene from one of my favorite movies. At first I wanted to do the huge party scene. My thought was I could gather everyone who did anything for my project and have a real party with them as extras. How cool would that have been? Instead I settled for a 3 person scene. I wish we had more choices in terms of angles but kudos to Tom who gave us some real gold in just ten minutes of shooting! His expressions had me laughing in the edit. Also be sure to listen to the awesome music provided by Jonny and His Dad. Every time I have heard this song I have said I love it and it reminds me of the type of music Nancy Meyers always has in her films. It's perfection. I'm thrilled about using it.

We are very close to setting next weeks shoot date for Bridges and then I just have to lasso some young violin students for the big finale. Wish me luck. Meryl Streep has taught me a lot and I'm only just beginning school.
