Part of this A to Z thing involves a huge learning curve so here I sit surrounded by titles including: Donny Deutsch's The Big Idea, The New Rules of Marketing and PR, Advertise, Promote, and Market Your Business or Web Site, Marketing without Advertising, Guerrilla Publicity and the two I mentioned in the video. If that's not an excuse to go to the pool and read, I don't know what is!
Forgot to mention my film audition the other night. It was great. The film is called Free Runner. I met the Director at a recent film commissioner's event. I went up to him and started talking up a storm. He asked me who the casting directors were in town and I gave him Lilian Pyles and Marcy Ronen's names. He ended up going with Lilian so it was great to see her at the audition. She's the one who called me in to audition for Lilith. The role I read for was a news reporter. It was only one line but I read it two ways. The reporter was supposed to be from LA which is a whole different ball game than an Ohio reporter. So I got trendy, casual and acted like I was reading entertainment news. That's how they do it in LA, really. It's kind of funny. They could be talking about a forest fire out of control and it's like you're watching Entertainment Tonight. Well, we'll see if I get the call. I sure hope this film incentive in Ohio means I'll be doing way more film auditions.
Next up I have to find the location and schedule the shoot for Kramer vs. Kramer. It's a short scene but very emotional. I need an elevator and an apartment building. You would think I would use my own but nah, it's not the right feel. Talk to ya soon! Where's my beach towel?

Kramer vs. Kramer?
SCREW the elevator. Do the scene where Dustin Hoffman wacks the wine glass in the restaurant. That was epic.
Speaking of restaurants...offer for sushi and Japanese beer after #26 wraps is still good. There's a good place on Miles Road. Just a tad tough to find.
That's funny you said that. I totally wanted to do that scene. It was my first instinct but I locations were tough and I decided to go with one that was more Meryl focused. That's truly Dustin's scene.
I think I've been to that sushi place on Miles Rd. I was with this guy from the 80s. It was fun though.
