Leaps and Bounds

Got lots of A to Z project stuff accomplished today.  Made the final decision regarding the M scene. Now all that needs to be done is the editing.  Have notified all actors, have a Dir of Photography and know what location will be for the N scene but have to confirm the date with the location. Cast the O scene, have a D.P, have a location and the shoot date for that as well.  Heard from a make up artist today and am arranging to have her do the makeup before I leave for the O shoot where I have to be a cancer patient.  For all three letters, I won't have to ask Devon to do one bit of shooting.  I will however, need him to edit so of course he'll stay in the mix and that's a good thing.  I plan to work ahead and get to figuring out the P and Q scenes but I might take a week before I jump into that.  Not bad, huh?  It's funny how sometimes things fit very nicely together like puzzle pieces instead of me walking around puzzled, such a relief!

Had a lunch meeting with a marketing guru who had input regarding the Meryl Streep Outreach Program, or so I like to call it. His feeling was that if someone in her camp knew about me and my project, they surely would contact me.  So then he was trying to figure out how to reach those people and suggested a press packet.  Luckily, I'm sort of on that already. I did hear from Liz, the PR specialist again and she wants to set up another meeting, also a good thing.

I mentioned Kickstarter.com and finally did the shoot for that video last night.  I like the footage we got and I think it will be a great promo piece for my project.  Chuck is editing it for me so by Sunday or Monday I will be able to post it on their site and show you how it looks.  Speaking of how things look, here's the 48 hour film festival piece we shot when I wasn't sleeping or eating, remember? OK, enough out of me ... for now.
