So, I was going to do the Special blog thanks for the K scene today but I got so sidetracked by all of the other preparations that I've decided tomorrow you will see those thanks. Then about a few days later you will see the thanks for the L scene and then I'll be all caught up. Those take some time you know. I have to get all the information from everyone involved and then I want to be sure to plug, plug, plug away so we all get work. It really seems to be working for certain members of my team and I hope to continue hearing stories like that.
What's up today? Well, I had a meeting with Cathy Albers to do some planning for the Conservatory Committee of AFTRA of which we are the co-chairs. As usual, it was wonderful seeing her. Do you remember Cathy? She was the fabulous actress who played opposite me in the scene from Evening, aka the E scene. Anyway, we met at Melt, a restaurant that has ginormous portions and could be one of the causes of American obesity. Still it was pretty darn tasty and I'm happy to say served for two rather large meals today.
Then I had a rehearsal for a stage reading I'm in tonight at the 78th St art gallery. The play is called "For the Price of a Cow" by Margaret Lynch. I've been fortunate enough to do this reading once before and I love the writing so it's my pleasure to once again be "on stage" with this script.
I am at the studio downtown, you know the one, The Reel Thing, trying to catch up on my posting, blogging, and planning for the two shoots that will take place on Sunday and Monday. Once I'm done with that or maybe even before I'm done, I will head back to the performance space and begin the reading at 7 PM. I think I'll be done by 10:00.
Tomorrow is an afternoon with the family and I'll do other planning, prep work, memorization ... you know, after I see them. We're going on the Good Time III. We'll see if it's three times the fun or if it's supposed to be called the OK Time III. I'll let ya know.
