Behind the behind of the scenes

Did my vo audition. Have the mixer tonight. Write in fragments. That's me. I look across my living room and see 8 DVD's all starring Meryl Streep. What's in MY DVD player? Shall We Dance ... a movie NOT starring Meryl. You see, in that rather large stack of films, there is not one comedy. There's a bit of romance but not a laugh in the bunch. It's like signing on for intense drama and boxes of kleenex and sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. I promise though, after I get through Shall We Dance, which I've seen about 6 other times, I'll get to a Meryl movie. I'm going to find the one that has a smile on the cover. HA!

Tonight is the CFC's mixer and I will meet every crew member that I possibly can, hoping to bring them along on this journey. I'll let you know how it goes down. In the meantime, I will sit here and wish Meryl did a movie about learning ballroom dance because that would have been really cool. More info, coming soon.
