yesterday, today, out of Africa and out of my mind!

Last night's mixer was awesome! I met Peter, who owns his own studio with the largest green screen around. He's a DP in town that Andy Schofield just told me about the other night at the AFTRA event. Andy was kind enough to contact him so when I met Peter he had not only heard about me but really had a good handle on my project! He was on board with helping me but got very excited, high five slappin excited, when I mentioned filming Out of Africa using his green screen technology. He wants me to get actual footage from Africa so the scene will look most authentic. It's in my DVD player now so I can get a jump on it. I will select the scene today and send him all the info so that when we get to filming the "o" in A to Z, everything will be all set. He's very excited and so am I!

I also met a screenplay writer. It was great to talk with him and of course I planted the seed that I'd read his words aloud for him and am eager to do film work. He said there was already a part I'd be good for in a film he's writing about Italians. Gotta love that!

Then I saw Jennifer Klide, she's someone who works in the Art dept and is very busy in town on many sets. She is psyched about my love project and wants to work on it too.

Overall, it was an awesome night. I will be attending every mixer the film commission has, you bet on that! Now, I have to prepare for this weekend. I'm working a Chevy event at the Cleveland auto show. Oh and today's workshop was a success! Working for a day here and there at Baldwin Wallace is really fun. The students were great. More later ... I promise.
