Nashville for a day

I'm at the Cleveland airport blogging on my blackberry. This could be short and typo-ridden! Another new word, I know.

Last night I cochaired another great Aftra event, Indie Film Night. The Cleveland film commissioner was there as was a local indie film maker. The talk was informative and it was all I could do not to rise to my feet and yell out my urls! I remained composed and instead spoke with one of my actors and two contacts putting the new DP feelers out there. Its officially flying out to the universe that I need someone to shoot for me on March first and I have a couple of leads as a result.

I'll be in Nashville all day today so I won't make any decisions until tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, I'm doing a workshop at my alma mater, Baldwin Wallace College on acting on film. Hmm there must be a networking opp there. I think I need my flyers to pass out. I'll figure something out.

Tomorrow night is a mixer for the film commission and considering a lot of crew members will be there so will I. I'll be the girl with the flashy tights on, a real conversation starter and then... BAM, I'll suck them into my project, at least that's my plan.
