Social Networking out the watuzzi

Again, I'm not obsessing over not hearing from Dave, my next DP on my shoot, really I'm not. Never mind that I've created a deadline in my head for when I pull the plug on hope. And forget the fact that I'm starting to think I will have to do back to back shoot/edit dates if he doesn't work out. Oh and pay no attention to the horror that I'm learning two scripts, have no idea if both actors will be in town when we shoot and am almost already completely off schedule. I've hardly given it a thought (insert head twitch and facial tick here).

I've continued on my path to social network mania. Today I signed up for a blogger catalog. Basically all of these places I'm putting my blog allow for more people to read me. I also got my first response from a woman on the Meryl Streep forum that I joined yesterday, or was it the day before? Sheesh, it's a lot to take in and I still have to create the copy for my A to Z flyer and business card. Hmm, what should my flyer say? There's what it will probably say, which is the inclusion of all of the various urls and what it's all about. Then there's the what I feel like saying which is this...

Look you spend many wasted hours every single day doing things that are far less productive than reading my blog. You watch more drivel that is way less entertaining or inspired than watching my videos. You basically can spare a few minutes a day, and if you say you can't, I say quit fibbing! Read, Watch, Post, Laugh, Cry, Be opinionated and donate to the cause already, will ya? Oh and let's make this project by Clevelanders the one good thing that comes from this miserable city.

Odds are, I won't get that harsh with it but it was nice to get off my chest.

ONE MORE THING, so I was on Julie Powell's blog today. Her last post was on February 11 and she was talking about an event she was attending on Valentine's Day. The event was for writers and she was going to be speaking with none other than Susan Orlean! How wild is that? Julie Powell is my inspiration for the idea of this blog. Susan is the first character I performed. They both are writers. They both have blogs. We all have teeth. Do you see the wild coincidences here? OMG. I left Julie a comment on her blog and I hope she reads it but she had 64 comments on that post and mine was at the bottom. Oh, we'll see. Please please please. That would be soooooooooooo cool.
