Devon's Brilliant Idea!

Today I called Dev because I wanted to do some scheduling for our next editing session and discuss the particulars for the J scene.  As I was requesting the information to give to Andy, the D.P. for the J scene, Dev had an idea.  Well, maybe he had it earlier but that's when he said it to me.  He said instead of releasing my scenes every two weeks, I should try a trifecta.  He said hold back, hype it up and show three at once.  I was thinking J, K, L hmm, those are three contrasting scenes, could be very cool.  I told him I was going to think about it and then most likely do it.  Here's his thought, people barely have the time to check out one scene and another one pops up.  It takes the special away from it.  This way I could keep doing updates and really hype the trio of scenes that will come everyone's way.  I will still shoot and edit as usual but I won't let them be seen until the end of July.  What do ya think of that?  No scenes until the end of July.  Lots of build up and bam, pow, whammy!  Could be cool, right?  Meanwhile, Dev also suggested that I keep people somewhat interested by posting flip videos of my day to day stuff and my banter with myself and whatever crawls across my path.  I asked Dev  how he thought of that and he said he was reading my blog and thought it might be a good idea. Meanwhile both Terri and The Jimmy have been saying that all along so perhaps I'll give that a try.I have to contact all of my actors so they know they're part of the triple feature but I'm pretty sure they'll like it.  I also need to find ways to promote, promote, promote and oh, did I say promote?

So I had this idea to get Dev a piece of French Silk pie because he deserves a treat for thinking of something awesome.  Then, Cassie distracted me and I didn't get to him in time.  Darn, so Dev if you're reading this, I owe you a slice of pie.  Thanks for the great idea.  Any others you might have, give me a call.
