Today was my Uncle's funeral. To hear story after story about what kind of a man he was truly was inspirational. It would be nice to have people say half as many beautiful things about you after you were gone. So, after seeing my family, eating a nice meal and thinking about the sweet words my little cousin, Joey said, I went home to prepare for the next part of my day.
I met Michael, the actor from the F scene, out for sushi, shop talk and we attended the Cleveland Film Commission's mixer afterward. These mixers are great opportunities to network like a fiend, and that I did. I ran into Dave Litz, a Dir. of Photography who again stressed that he would like to participate in A to Z. I reintroduced myself to the Film Commissioner. I met a Director from LA who will be shooting here in July. The business cards were flying! I hope I didn't put anyone's eye out. My goal was to give away all that I had. I met that goal.
Now I'm contemplating what I need to accomplish for my project but to be honest I'm a bit drained. I could really go for some sleep. The melatonin in flowing and it's time to rest my eyes. I think tonight I'll just make a real to do list on my phone and call it a day. There, now I've updated you, linkedin, twitter, facebook and I'm making a list. I guess that's enough for one day.
Good night all. RIP Uncle Joe.
