Real quick I have to tell you about the taping the other night. The Jimmy and I were on a segment of Wake Up and Live. It's a show that has two different angles, one is about promoting artists in the community and the other is a new life for a new you, or something along those lines. Don't quote me. Anyway, Jimmy and I arrived and at the facility where we were to tape and there were a few people waiting to be on the show, watch the show, tape the show ... we weren't really sure. Then more people came. Then some more arrived. Finally the host, that we both know, was there. She was excited to see the 20 or so people who showed up for the taping and immediately, Sue Johnson, began coordinating how this was all going to happen in a very short amount of time. Hats off to Sue for running the show and organizing it like a pro! When it was our turn we weren't quite sure what we were going to cover but Jimmy's plan was to talk about health and wellness and then turn it all over to me to talk about A to Z. They introduced us and started asking Jimmy about (phonetically spelled) Chee Gong. The reason they were asking about this was because I let Sue know that perhaps it would only be me since the taping was so late at night and because Jimmy might be doing Chee Gong. Well, the panel made up of Jimmy, myself and 3 hosts all caught a hold of the Chee Gong and wouldn't let go. I spent most of the time laughing. Jimmy was sweating bullets. It wasn't due to nerves but maybe the overload from trying to get them off that subject and onto mine. I was a giggling fool. No sooner would Jimmy say and so Chee Gong is one of the things I do but more importantly practice and purpose is what we're all after, then one of the hosts would say, "so is Chee Gong like Buddhism?" Again, I laughed. Sweet Jimmy really was trying to get the discussion onto me and they were like dogs with a bone. Then Sue realized maybe Chee Gong was not the be all and end all and attempted to get us off that subject but the other hosts would say so can you describe chee gong? LOLOLOL I thought it was hilarious. Meanwhile Jimmy's sweat which formerly had been a light glisten turned into a river beneath his nose. I wanted to wipe it for him but thought that might draw attention. So, if you watch the segment and you see a snicker on my face and constant laughter coming from me, you'll know why.
Wow, that wasn't real quick at all, was it? Guess what? We've got some great ideas for future videos to promote A to Z and I'm so excited about them that I might pop, whatever that means. Stay tuned and have an awesome day!
