Lost in edits and THE M SCENE

As I write to you now the M scene is 77% uploaded to youtube.  If I told you the path that was taken to get to this point you might not believe me and yet I will tell you anyway, as well as I can remember it.

First off let's just say, NO real sleep to speak of and I still know my name so yea for me!  For the last 48 hours Jay Kim and I have been at a computer editing, sharing files, uploading, emailing, organizing, rendering, screaming, crying ... oops, perhaps that was an overshare.  Point is, it literally has been 48 hours minus just a few for sleep and I think there was some food in there somewhere.  We shot the N scene and then edited it the next day.  That took some time due to the system we were working on and it's capabilities or lack thereof.  We're at 84% by the way.  When all was said and done with the N edit, I really thought OK so there, I've done it ... it's a damn scene where I sing.  Is the singing good?  Nah.  Is it all about singing?  Thank goodness, no.  Do I ever want to do it again?  Not unless I'm paid handsomely.  The scene itself though, aside from the singing is going to be darn entertaining and another addition to A to Z that will be new and refreshing.  No tears were shed.  88% now.

So the next day we decided to piece together the M scene.  When you see it you'll understand more why it wasn't your typical edit.  We were crawling through learning curve after learning swerve and the end result is a good interview with Meryl and ME.  Is it embarrassing?  Um, isn't everything?  Is it funny?  Perhaps for some.  Is it real ... oh you better believe it, I guess.

Now we're at 92% and if that meant that we were only 8% away from showing you the M scene I would be experiencing glee and I don't mean the TV show.  Unfortunately, that's not how things work.  Once you get a video uploaded to youtube, then they have to "process" it and the process basically makes me crazy!  So without going into crazy detail about the many snags in our editing process and the tremendous work, patience and heart that was involved on Jay's part, I will say that I feel you will truly enjoy the M scene! The good news is, even if you don't, how will I know?  I plan to sleep for about a month.  97% ... omg!!!!  Watch, comment, send to your friends and by all means pass it along to Meryl.  100% and now the process begins.  Did I say BEGINS??????
