Negotiations can be a Nuisance

I thought I might take a few days off after the Julia, Kramer vs Kramer, and Lions for Lambs release but that's a big fat no.

I have to do the switcheroo with the M scene and still haven't heard back yet from Devon as to his preference of shooting indoors or outside.  So location is still an issue.  With that said, I cannot choose a scene until I know the location.  I also have yet to contact that actor.

Then there's the N scene with is A Prairie Home Companion.  I need to shoot in the Cleveland Playhouse dressing rooms but now I must contact someone there to see if I can get in without them charging me an arm and a leg.  Once that date is secured, I will start working with my actors to be sure they are prepared.  Remember this is the scene with Cassie!  It's her big debut.  Well, actually she's been on camera before but I can't say she loves it.  The good news is her character just has to be annoyed by me and has to think everything I say is stupid... not a big stretch you see!

The other negotiation is with the man who is selling me my new laptop.  It's a great computer however there are some issues.  It only has one port that works.  The delete key is not functional.  The arrows only work periodically and occasionally certain commands don't do what they are meant to do.  With that said, I sent him an email saying I would accept all of that but I feel the price should come down.  I haven't heard back.  I'm sure he feels he was giving it to me for a steal but could he really sell it anyway?  I don't think so.

Momentarily I will begin shooting a video for The Jimmy and his son, Jonathan.  They are a singing duet and they need footage so here goes, Nancy T on the other side of the lense.  I'll report later!
