Remember that dance called the Limbo? Well, I can't say it's too popular anymore although it often shows up in movies as "entertainment". The point is to be on one side of the stick overhead and dance your way under it, all bent backwards to the other side of it. Sound fun? Nah, not to me either but that's what I'm doing right about now. I'm in limbo for sure. I need to plan for the Bridges of Madison County scene. I have yet to hear from my actor which I have to say makes me just a bit nervous. I still have to secure a location but that seems silly until I know my actor's schedule and I have to have a meeting of the minds with Dev who will be back on board for that scene. None of that has happened yet but boy do I wish it would!
Then there's the River Wild scene. This would be my first fabulous opportunity to work at Creative House Studios with that huge green screen I've mentioned a few times before. I was supposed to hear from the guys shooting the scene and we were all to have a meeting where I could see the facility, get a tour so to speak, discuss the logistics, and then plan for the actual shoot. Meanwhile, I have NOT contacted those actors at all! They have been dancing in my mind as perfection for the roles BUT it's almost as if I don't want to put that ball in motion until I actually have confidence that we will shoot it there. If for some reason it has to be postponed or switched, I just need to know what's up.
So can you say, limbo? Or how about, I have no darn idea what's happening? I want to take the bull by the horns and say let's do this thing so maybe that's what I'll do today or maybe I'll try to remain patient for the pieces to fall into place.
Hmm, I could always do more laundry. Happy day to you! Oh, and no word from Meryl Streep yet ... darn.
