I made it in the film director's blog!

I was surfing yesterday and finally had the opportunity to read Sridhar Reddy's blog.  He is the director of the film, Lilith.  I know this blog is about my A to Z project but I do have to take a moment to talk about working with Sridhar.  He is a sweetheart!  He allows his actors to take more than a stab at a scene.  He wants us to talk to him about our thoughts, or if we have questions about the lines, he wants us to ask.  He is patient, way relaxed, never critical and directs with a smile on his face, which brought a smile to mine.  He doesn't feel like one of those directors who view actors as a necessary evil.  It's like he actually likes us.  Let's just say that I love working with him and I look forward to my other days of shooting.  He has his own blog http://lilithfilm.tumblr.com/ where he writes about the process of making Lilith.  There is one image of me in a room from one of my scenes.  It's my big monologue scene and although you cannot make me out very well, I just had to show you!

As for the rest of today, I'm all about the G scene.  I've sent an email to the potential actor and if he cannot do it, I have a couple of thoughts about what I would do next but I really want this particular person to fill the role.  The G scene is from the movie, The Bridges of Madison County.  If I could have my way, I would love to do the truck scene where he stands out in the rain and she contemplates leaving her husband on the spot and getting out of the truck.  However, a rain machine is out of my budget ... WAY OUT.  What I've selected promises to be equally gut wrenching.  Wish me luck on getting my actor!
