So where is the G scene? What's going on with the letter G? Do I have the blonde I need? Am I going to film it or do animation? Am I settled with a shoot date? Boy you have a lot of questions, don't you?! The plan is to proceed with the G scene. I think I have a blonde for the role. Jeff Blanchard recommended Liz Conway and I'm trusting his instincts. Plus, I went to her facebook page and her pictures look trustworthy. I know it sounds silly but sometimes you just get a feeling, you know?
I sent the script to Liz and she did not recoil in horror from the content so I guess that's a good thing. We now have to gel our schedules and decide where we will shoot the scene. It needs to be in an in home office or area where there would be books, a couch, a chair etc. I'm not too particular about where so it should be easy to find. Hmm, we'll see. I really need a wig. I have to appear older and Jewish and I think a wig could really help with that look. Frumpy clothes should be easy to manage. I have the perfect glasses. When all is said and done, I hope to be unrecognizable, or at least partially concealed.
It was suggested to me by about 5 separate people that perhaps I should have played both roles. That sounds awesome but the scene itself is so darn funny that I don't want it to turn into a spoof too.
Tomorrow's post will have more details about the shoot so there's some closure coming our way. Meanwhile, I've been talking to the actors from the H scene and the former G scene trying to arrange those shoots, rehearsals etc. I feel a bit worn out. I should be asleep right now but I'm relishing the fact that a friend loaned me a laptop so I'm actually on a real computer typing this. It's a few days that I don't have to drive downtown and perhaps I could get some PR work done for A to Z.
Goodnight all.
